Privacy
This policy covers the Polygon Cyber applications listed below and this website. It is written to be read rather than to be survived, and it says what actually happens to information rather than what we reserve the right to do with it.

We do not hold your farm records
BloomKeeper has no account, no login and no Polygon Cyber server behind it. Your beds, plantings, harvests, journal entries, photographs, voice notes, soil reports, customers and finances are stored on your iPad, and synchronized between your own devices through your own iCloud account if you have that turned on.
There is no copy of any of it on our side. That is not a promise about how carefully we would look after one — it is a statement that there is nothing to look after. We could not produce your farm data if a court asked us to, because we do not have it.
Where each kind of information goes
| Information | Where it lives | Does Polygon Cyber receive it |
|---|---|---|
| Beds, plantings, harvests, tasks | Your device, and your iCloud if enabled | No |
| Journal entries and prompts | Your device, and your iCloud if enabled | No |
| Photographs | Your device, and your iCloud if enabled | No |
| Voice recordings | Your device, and your iCloud if enabled | No |
| Transcribing a voice note | Audio goes to Apple's speech recognition to be turned into text | No |
| Soil reports you import | Your device, and your iCloud if enabled | No |
| Customers, orders, prices, finances | Your device, and your iCloud if enabled | No |
| Your farm's location | Your device; coordinates go to Apple WeatherKit to retrieve a local forecast | No |
| Crash and performance diagnostics | Written to your device; sent nowhere unless you choose to share them | Only if you send them to us |
Weather comes from Apple WeatherKit. Retrieving a forecast means sending your location to Apple. BloomKeeper asks iOS for it only to the nearest hundred metres — enough for a local forecast, not enough to identify a particular field. Apple states that WeatherKit location information "is used only to provide weather forecasts, is not associated with any personally identifiable information, and is never tracked between requests." It does not pass through us, and we receive neither the request nor the result.
Transcribing a voice note also uses Apple. When you ask for a transcript, the recording is sent to Apple's speech recognition service and the text comes back; Apple handles that audio under its own terms. The recording itself stays in your farm records either way, and we never receive either one. If you would rather nothing left the device, write the entry instead of dictating it.
Location is optional. If you decline the permission, or there is no signal in the back tunnel, BloomKeeper computes daylight locally from your hardiness zone and the date rather than asking anyone. The app is built to work with the network switched off, so declining costs you a forecast and nothing else.
Your Apple account, not ours
When iCloud synchronization is on, your records move between your iPad, your iPhone and your Mac through Apple's infrastructure under your own Apple Account. Apple processes that data as your provider under their terms, not as ours. We have no visibility into it and no ability to read, export or delete it.
Turning iCloud off for BloomKeeper in iOS Settings keeps everything on the one device. Nothing in the app stops working.
No advertising identifiers
No IDFA, no advertising SDK, no ad network. Nothing in BloomKeeper exists to sell attention.
No tracking across apps or sites
Your activity is not linked to you across other companies' products, and never will be.
No data brokers
Nothing is sold, rented, licensed or shared for anyone else's marketing.
No behavioural analytics
We do not instrument which screens you open or how long you spend on them.
Everyone who touches anything
The complete list. There is no fourth entry, and none of these receives anything from us — each is a service your own device or browser talks to directly.
| Who | What reaches them | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Apple — iCloud | Your BloomKeeper records, if you have sync on | To keep your own devices in step, under your own Apple Account |
| Apple — WeatherKit | Your location to the nearest hundred metres, per forecast request | To return a local forecast; not tied to identity, not tracked between requests |
| Apple — Speech Recognition | The audio of a voice note you choose to transcribe | To turn it into text, under Apple's speech recognition terms |
| Cloudflare | Requests to this website | To serve polygoncyber.com and carry the contact form |
The contact form, and nothing else
polygoncyber.com carries no analytics, no advertising and no third-party scripts. Every font, stylesheet and script is served from this origin; the content security policy forbids anything else, and a test fails the build if one appears.
If you send a message through the contact form, we receive what you typed — your name, your address and your message — and use it to reply. It is not added to a mailing list. Cloudflare serves the site and processes requests as our infrastructure provider, which includes the transient connection logging any host performs.
What you can ask for
Canadian privacy law gives you the right to ask what personal information an organization holds about you, to have it corrected, and to have it deleted. If you are in the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area you have equivalent rights, including portability and objection.
For BloomKeeper the answer will usually be that we hold nothing, because the architecture above means there is nothing to hold. Your own copy is deleted by deleting the records in the app or removing the app; iCloud copies are managed through your Apple Account. For a message you sent us, write to hello@polygoncyber.com and we will delete it.
Not directed at children
BloomKeeper is a tool for running a farm business and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Since the app collects nothing from anyone, this is a statement of intent rather than a filtering mechanism.
If this changes, it changes here
This page carries an effective date at the top. If a future release of BloomKeeper adds a feature that sends something off the device — a shared farm, a hosted backup, an account — this policy will say so before that release ships, and the date will move.
We will not quietly widen what is collected under a policy written for a narrower app.
